About the role
Due to a retirement Holcim is looking to recruit a Chief Engineer for the mv Buffalo. You will be required to ensure the safe and efficient operation and upkeep of machinery affecting safe operation of the ship.
Maximise the distribution of Holcim (New Zealand) cement products and contracted cargoes by ensuring the safe and efficient operation and upkeep of the nominated Company ship’s hull, plant and equipment.
About you
- Hold a Marine Engineer Class One certificate
- A minimum of 5 years pervious experience as a Chief Engineer
- Experienced in both NZ coastal and “blue water” operations
- Experienced in managing contractors and cost control
- You will have good knowledge of using a CMMS and pervious experience with AMOS would be desirable
