About the Role
We are currently on the lookout for a Payroll Administrator to join the Higgins Christchurch team. This is a permanent, full-time role. This position reports to the Branch Accountant. While this is mainly an autonomous position, you will be part of a supportive team.
This is a busy role and will largely include responsibility in processing waged staff timesheets, leave data, data entry of labour and plant costings into the accounting system and recording data against projects.
We are a customer-focussed function and aim to process payrolls quickly and accurately, so therefore the successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to work with a high attention to detail.
To be considered for this role, you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to problem solve. Previous experience in the Leader payroll system is desirable, however if you have a background in payroll using other systems then we would still like to hear from you. Strong MS Excel skills is a definite must.
